Larry Logan - Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Logan’s early fascination with wireless communications began at age 13 when he achieved his first amateur radio operator's license and began engaging fellow 'hams' around the world. Years later he was to witness first hand in China the explosion in development of satellite communications and mobile technology and services. At ZuluTime he is able to connect this technology background with his eclectic career in successively building industry-leading brands. He joined ZuluTime as its Chief Marketing Officer in November, 2010, and continues overseeing the company's marketing activities.

Mr. Logan's began his career initially as a creative director and marketer in Hollywood in campaigns with 20th Century Fox, CBS, HBO, Columbia Pictures, Paramount Pictures, and Playboy Enterprises. He is the recipient of more than 75 RIAA-certified Gold and Platinum records for retail marketing campaigns in the entertainment industry.

As the Director of Creative and Brand Marketing for Digimarc, Mr. Logan playing a key role as the brand evangelist and the establishment of Digimarc as the world leader in digital watermarking technology. He was a frequent lecturer at industry conferences on the subject of copyright law and artists rights. Mr. Logan was recruited to be the Vice President for Marketing & Communications at Healtheon, founded by Silicon Valley legend Jim Clark. Healtheon (HLTH) enjoyed the largest internet healthcare IPO and in its merger with WebMD the largest pure merger of internet companies at that time. During his tenure, the company's website became the #1 ranked destination for healthcare news.

His next spent four years performing due diligence principally in China as the CMO for Agio Ltd. in the field of satellite communications, mobile technology and services. He subsequently served as the CMO for Absorbent Technologies, launching a new agricultural and consumer gardening technology that yielded higher plant yields using less water, and where he licensed the brand and technology to global manufacturers and distributors.

Mr. Logan also served as CMO for Immersive Media Company, the world leader in 360-degree interactive video and which introduced the technology later adopted by Google for its Street View services. In this role he also led the company's efforts in the interactive video documentation of the Haiti earthquake in association with CNN and the first live 360 video broadcast from the Olympics in association with NBC.

Among his various industry recognitions, luxury automaker Infiniti featured Mr. Logan in its half-page Wall Street Journal profiles-in-excellence campaign, noting him as a recognized change agent "always on the early adoption curve."

Geoff Rhoads - Chief Architect and Co-Founder

Mr. Rhoads, the inventor of ZuluTime’s technology, started his career at Tektronix, becoming the principal designer of the first commercially available 1 GHz digitizing oscilloscope. He was the chief scientist in working with key customers/applications such as Los Alamos/Livermore in the then nascent commercial efforts toward fiber optics and laser communications systems.

In 1994, Mr. Rhoads founded Digimarc Corporation (NASDAQ: DMRC) as its Chief Technology Officer and inventor of digital watermarking technology. At Digimarc he led the intellectual property and technology development, directly resulting in over 600 patents awarded to the company to date. Digimarc enjoyed is highly successful IPO in 1999.

In 2003, Mr. Rhoads co-founded Venture Ad Astra where he continued to invent breakthrough techniques for solving difficult problems in the fields of earth imaging satellite structures and processing, guidance, navigation and precision timing. He joined ZuluTime in 2007, upon Venture Ad Astra’s spin out of its timing and navigation technology.

Mark Gardiner – Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Gardiner enjoys more than 30 years of experience as an entrepreneur, executive and financial/business advisor in a broad range of industries. He was most recently the President and CEO of Octavian Scientific, Inc., a semiconductor manufacturer funded by $10 million in venture capital and debt financing.

Prior to Octavian, Mr. Gardiner served numerous clients in a 20+ year consulting career, spearheading more than $10 billion of debt and equity financing. Recent projects include serving as business advisor to the Oregon Health and Science University for the River Campus/South Waterfront project, a $2+ billion bio-technology, academic, clinical, housing and commercial mixed use development.

He recently served on the Oregon Investment Council, which oversees the $60+ billion portfolio for Oregon’s public pension and trust funds. From 1979 to 1985, Mr. Gardiner was City Economist, Budget Officer and ultimately CFO/CAO of a $700 million-budget public corporation – the City of Portland, Oregon – with a tenure spanning the terms of four mayors.

Tom Matson – Vice President of Product Marketing

Mr. Matson brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in product management, business development and sales for both multinational and startup companies. At Intel Corporation, he led marketing organizations for both enterprise and desktop boards and systems divisions, successfully driving revenue growth for those $500M+ organizations. Mr. Matson also established the strategic planning function for Intel’s software organization and aligned leading ISVs with the launch of Intel’s first Centrino® processor for the mobile products group executive staff. He helped establish the company’s position in the core logic area by defining and launching the first PCI chip set for the Pentium® processor. Most recently, he led business development for RNA Networks, a data center infrastructure software startup, and created a strong partner and reseller program with HP, Mellanox and others.

Mr. Matson has been fascinated with maps since he was a youngster, and he now has a small collection of antique maps, including one from 1690. Tom holds a BS in Electrical Engineering and MSIA (MBA) from Purdue University.
